Good to see that Blogger works again... It wasn't working yesterday.

Jovian Knight, be true and strong, the one you love will be where she belongs...
Focus your mind, follow your heart, the path is there, follow it to the start..
You know who you are, why you are here, what you must do, and why you must preservere.
Your friends are there, right by your side, fight to the end and let your soul finally glide...
Fly free and proud, for peace will finally reign.

The only thing that changes is the darkness from day to day... the light within him will show him the way.
He will find her sometime soon, and both will be united, finally together again after so many lonely nights.
Yet the thing I know, and believe in, is that I will never question myself.
For I know who I am, what my purpose is, and I will never doubt again.
They say true love is eternal, an endless flame...
What they never said is that it will always erase the pain.

"I read somewhere that everybody on this planet is separated by only six other people. Six degrees of separation between us and everyone else on this planet. The President of the United States, a gondolier in Venice, just fill in the names. I find that extremely comforting, that we're so close, but I also find it like Chinese water torture that we're so close because you have to find the right six people to make the connection.

It's not just big names -- it's anyone. A native in a rain forest, a Tiero del Fuegan, an Eskimo. I am bound -- you are bound -- to everyone on this planet by a trail of six people. It's a profound thought -- how Paul found us, how to find the man whose son he claims to be, or perhaps is, although I doubt it. How everyone is a new door, opening into other worlds."

Reminds me of a quote that I'll never forget.

"If only we knew what we don't know, we'd do it right the first time."

Been overcast for two days. Dark grey skies, light rain, now it's passing by again. The cold front that went through is doing a great job of cooling the weather about 15 degrees. Not as much humidity, either. Thank God for that.

The best thing about fall, along with everything else I mentioned, is that you can still take a dive in the ocean and you won't freeze your ass off.

Somehow that makes it all worthwhile. :-)
